Senior Site Reliability Engineering Developer (SRE)

A career as a DevOps Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) in the National Bank team means acting as a specialist in the development and management of resilient critical assets. This job allows you to have a positive impact on our organization, thanks to your expertise in DevOps and SRE.

Your Job

• Promote best practices in resilience and stability among application and infrastructure teams.
• Understand the main flows of our critical environments to identify single points of failure.
• Support IT teams to improve their documentation and architecture diagrams to include resilience and stability information.
• Perform application development and automate as needed.
• Promote and increase the automation of IT tasks to reduce human errors.
• Analyze stability end-to-end and recommend improvements in system performance and resilience.
• Promote best monitoring practices and support IT teams in implementing key resilience and stability indicators.
• Support IT teams in responding to major events impacting the resilience of their systems.

Your Team

Within the Payments sector, you are part of a team of 12 people with 2 squads of 6 people each - reliability and performance optimization. Prerequisites

• At least 10 years of experience in developing/maintaining online services.
• Expertise in software design of complex systems supporting thousands of concurrent clients.
• At least 10 years of experience in a complex environment composed of new and legacy technologies.
• Excellent understanding of DevSecOPS principles, monitoring, and observability.
• Knowledge of various database technologies such as MongoDB, Redis, and SQL.
• Experience with AWS cloud technology (service development, deployment, automation, and operations).

Mandatory Languages

• Bilingualism (French and English).
