Your role:
- Help clients establish their financial plan, prepare financial plans and retirement projections
- Hold meetings and facilitate presentations/seminars for current and potential clients
- Serve clients within a well-established, high performing team
- Generate the acquisition of new assets and new clients through planning engagements and client review meetings
- Provide advice and service according to the team’s investment management process and the client’s needs
- Target time split: 20% planning, 40% business development, 40% client advisory/service
- Evaluate, identify client’s financial planning needs and propose solutions
- Monitor and follow up on complex financial plans completed by in-house planner

We have close to 1,000 investment advisors who manage the assets of more than 400,000 clients in about 100 branches. Reporting to the regional manager, you will team up with an investment advisor to offer an exceptional client experience. Collaboration and partnership will be key to your success.
Prerequisites:
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) but may also consider Personal Financial Planner (PFP)
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course and the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course an asset
- Knowledge of taxation, retirement planning, and estate planning an asset
- Excellent knowledge of investment products, financial markets, and the economy
