Temporary Human Resources Coordinator - Reporting & Analytics
12 month contract

Location: North Bay Head Office (In Person)
The Human Resources Coordinator - Reporting & Analytics oversees databases and computer systems that the NNDSB uses in managing their Human Resources functions. Duties include analyzing and optimizing HRIS systems, monitoring performance and resolving issues. You will also be required to design new HRIS systems to meet reporting requirements. A key support to our Human Resource Coordinators, this individual will develop easy to use and consistent linkages between data bases to ensure accuracy and consistency. The individual will also be responsible for the development of key reports as well as budget.
Primary responsibilities:
Consulting with Human Resources Manager and Human Resources Staff to determine HRIS needs.
Analyses the current databases utilized within the Human Resources Department and ensures ongoing reliability and validity of data.
Develops and submits reports required for government, finance and internal reporting.
Works with other Human Resources Coordinators to ensure that their databases are regularly updated and reflect the most effective use of data.
Identifies and develops potential reporting efficiencies to enhance the HR department's use of data.
Coaches Human Resources Staff in the optimal use of their systems and problem solves when they are experiencing issues
Partners with Human Resources Coordinators to enhance the effectiveness of their key databases.
Identifies and recommends continuous improvement opportunities; particularly focusing on the use of data.
Works on the rollout and optimizing of Staffing Plus, Easy Connect, Parklane, K-12, and Edsembli
Uses data to support the development of and reporting of the Human Resources Key Performance Indicators, supporting the Multi-Year Strategic Plan for the Board.
Works with the Superintendent of Business and the Human Resources Manager on Budget preparation and monthly monitoring of the HR Budget.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2-year post-secondary diploma or degree in Business Administration or Human Resources
1-3 years experience in a progressive Human Resources environment
CHRP designation would be an asset
Required Skills:
Exceptional ability to gather and interpret data, as well as improve HRIS processes.
Expert in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and ebase
Ability to collaborate, provide technical support and train staff.
Experience in analyzing HRIS and HR performance metrics.
Advanced proficiency in database management and security as well as developing and executing SQL queries.
Experience in documenting processes, as well as performing diagnostic tests and audits.
Ability to keep up with technical innovation and advocate for its use in the NNDSB.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Hours of work: 35 hours a week (Monday to Friday)
Rate of Pay: $ 32.94 per hour ($59,959.00 annually)
