About Red Chris
Our Red Chris Mine, located in the heart of Northern British Columbia on the traditional territory of the Tahltan Nation. A short distance from Iskut and Dease Lake, Our fly-in, fly-out site offers access from various points across British Columbia and Alberta. Red Chris currently operates as an open-pit copper and gold mine with a promising future to transition to a high-value underground block cave operation. You will be the central point of contact for the Supply & Logistics team, ensuring smooth operations by managing administrative tasks, coordinating communication, and supporting procurement and logistics processes.
- Support scheduling, time management, and travel coordination for the department.
- Process purchase requisitions, freight invoices, and inventory reports.
- Maintain employee and contractor records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with safety initiatives and maintain life safety system inspections.
- Manage key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure accurate data reporting.
- Leverage technology such as SAP, Microsoft Office, and SharePoint for efficiency
- Certification in Office or Business Administration (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3 years of administrative experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with SAP or ERP software is a plus.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion

The expected salary range for this role is CA$64,000 - $69,000/year . This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s pay history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about pay history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
