Purpose

We are seeking a Fire System Technician with a positive attitude to join our dedicated team and contribute their skills and knowledge to our ongoing development and growth.

Responsibilities
  • Inspection and maintenance of all site fire alarm, and suppression systems to ensure code compliance
  • Provide technical support for continued improvement of site Life safety system maintenance program
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance records and inspections for audit
  • Perform weekly inspections and testing of fire pumps
  • Keep current with all fire protection codes and regulations
  • Work in a healthy work environment with full support, cooperation and commitment to satisfy our operation’s goal of being accident-free
  • Comply with federal and provincial acts and regulations, and legal requirements
  • Adhere to all relevant corporate policies and procedures
  • Ability to instruct and mentor junior technicians in order to assist them in obtaining their certifications
Requirements
  • Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma
  • Ontario Sprinkler and Fire System Installer Trade Certification
  • CFAA Fire Alarm Technician
Working Conditions

The schedule for this position is, 14 days on and 14 days off.
