About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Miner (Boom-Truck) to join our mining operations team at the Éléonore site. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient supply of equipment and storage underground, maintaining essential infrastructure, and operating various types of machinery. This position is vital to the smooth functioning of our mining operations, and you will play a key role in supporting our team underground.

Description
  • Efficiently supply equipment and maintain storage facilities underground to ensure the availability of required tools and materials.
  • Maintain shelters, equipment racks, and fuel racks, ensuring they are in good working order and meet safety standards.
  • Operate a variety of machinery, including mast trucks, Jeeps, tractors, and wheel loaders, to support underground operations.
  • Adhere to and promote company regulations and policies, with a strong focus on health and safety practices.
  • Perform any other related tasks as needed to support mining operations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; a combination of education and relevant experience is also acceptable.
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in underground mining.
  • Completion of Mining Modules 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7; a valid explosives permit and driver's license are required.
  • Bilingualism is preferred.
Working Conditions

This position is based at Newmont's Éléonore mining site, operating on a 14 days on / 14 days off rotation. You will be working underground, where safety and teamwork are paramount.
