The Process Operations and Asset Management Clerk's position is to provide clerical and administrative duties for the functioning of the Mill and Analytical departments.
Safety and Sustainability Expectations
- Responsible for their health and safety.
- Will correct or report unsafe practices or conditions.
- Maintains a safe and healthy place to work.
- Make suggestions to improve any aspect of safety.
- Learns and follows the safety rules and procedures for safe performance of the job.
- Complies with Newmont’s Fatality Risk Management (FRM) protocols.
- Ensure accuracy of data entry with time sheet (SAP).
- Key time entry for Mill operations and other departments when necessary.
- Review all time entries and follow up with issues.
- Sharepoint and Enablon Super user
- Responsible for entry of required action items, safety concerns, etc. in Enablon
- Accurately track all contractor usage for Operations and Maintenance. Forward monthly contractor hours to Management in a timely matter.
- Participate in Root Cause analyses to take minutes and complete the write-ups
Document Management
- Scan 5-point safety cards, time sheets and operator reports for department(s) as required
- File all regulatory documents
General Administration Duties
- Maintain schedules & crew lists.
- Create transmittals.
- File workforce personnel information.
- Provide support for payroll and administration issues.
- Additional tasks from the Mill and other departments as required.
- Manage coverall services for the Mill.
- Interact with all staff .
- Manage the department’s procurement (purchase orders, receipt of invoices)
- Follow up hiring and integration of new employees
- Resolve issues requiring knowledge of Company policies and procedures and ongoing projects
- Handle confidential and time critical material with tact and discretion.
- Responsible for fi le management
- Responsible for all rental fleet
- Completion of secondary school diploma required, college diploma in Office Administration an asset
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets and Outlook is required
- Mining experience preferred
- 2-5 years as a mid-tier office administrator
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Innovative and a proven ability to work with others
- Basic computer usage including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
This is a site based position in Timmins, ON
The schedule is 4 days on 3 days off
