Newmont North America operations are located in British Columbia, Ontario, and Quebec with roles in operations, projects, and exploration. Regional Support is provided from our office in Vancouver.

You will drive project success by developing and implementing project control systems that ensure accurate cost tracking, scheduling, and risk management. Your expertise will help maintain efficiency, budget discipline, and strategic decision-making.
The Newmont Red Chris Mine Projects team is currently recruiting for a Project Controls Specialist based out of the Vancouver Regional office.
- Develop and manage project control plans, cost forecasts, and schedules.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Oversee project reporting, including KPIs, budgets, and financial projections.
- Collaborate with project leaders, finance teams, and external contractors.
- Lead and mentor project control teams, ensuring best practices and efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in project controls, cost forecasting, and scheduling.
- Proficiency in project management tools and reporting systems.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Experience managing large-scale projects within resource, construction, or industrial sectors.
- This position is offered as a Hybrid role requiring 3 or more days of in-person presence a week at the Vancouver Regional office
- Dynamic and fast-paced project-based setting.

The expected salary range for this role is CAD $91,800 - $122,400/year with an additional 15% STI target. This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s pay history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about pay history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
