Northland Online School
Northland Online School is seeking Elementary, Junior High and High School Substitute Teachers. The online school serves students from Kindergarten through Grade 12, offering a personalized approach to education that blends whole school initiatives with tailored online learning experiences. Our curriculum proudly integrates First Nations, Métis language, culture, and land-based learning, creating a rich and inclusive learning environment. As we prepare to welcome Grade 12 students, we are excited to further enhance our vibrant online community.
Major Responsibilities include:
Following the prescribed program of studies for each subject taught.
Follow and execute daily lesson plans.
Provide feedback to the teacher and/or principal in a timely manner.
Provide feedback to students in a regular, timely manner.
Possess strong interpersonal skills and commit to collaborative-decision making.
Possess technological skills required to teach virtually.
Promote differentiated instruction to meet diversity in learning needs.
Qualifications and Requirements include:
Must hold or qualify for Alberta teaching certification and a Teaching Quality Standard certificate.
Must hold a Bachelor of Education (BEd.) degree.
