Our Early Childhood Educators uphold a beautiful, warm

You will create daily opportunities for
children to experience the world around them through artistic activities, oral
storytelling, drumming and singing, movement and following the seasonal rhythms
of nature.
Duties include:
Learn hul’q’umi’num’ language and participate in daily cultural practices & protocol with
the children.
Assist with the planning and implementation of daily activities, experiences and
routines for our children ages 0 - 5 years.
Participate in daily duties including supervision of clean-up, toileting, lunchtime,
outdoor play and naptime.
Keep records of relevant information about the child’s day including anecdotal
notes and observations.
Communicate with families daily to discuss their child’s day and their progress.
Participate in staff meetings and Stz'uminus Education Society events
Attend professional development activities such as courses, seminars or
workshops
