Description
Menno Simons Community School serves students in grades K-11 population, comprised of English students and ESL Mennonite students. The school is situated west of Fairview near Cleardale, Alberta, approximately 200 km north west of Grande Prairie.
Qualifications:
Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent
Experience and/or training working with students
High School Diploma
Requirements:
Provide an acceptable current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
Please note, records check must be less than six (6) months old to date of your application.
Skills:
Ability to work with students with varying needs and abilities
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
Experience working in a classroom setting
Experience in speech language development is considered an asset
Demonstrates proficiency in technology

This is a union position under the CUPE Local 4839 Peace River School Support Staff.
Rate of Pay:
$20.16 to $25.29 per hour (dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the CUPE Local 4839 and the Peace River School Division).
