The technician handles HVAC work requiring a TSSA G.2 certificate of qualification (maximum equipment input rating of 400,000 BTU/h) and a refrigeration and air conditioning mechanic's certificate of qualification for the Corporation, including design and drawings for small-scale projects, as well as maintenance and repairs as required, using the appropriate equipment and tools.

Requested skills

  • 2-year college degree in heating, refrigeration and air conditioning technology or other related fields;
  • Certificates of qualification such as: TSSA Certificate of Qualification G.2, Certificate of Qualification for Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic (Licence 313A), Ozone-Alert Card, Lockout;
  • Ability to interpret instructions, laws, codes, regulations and construction plans;
  • Knowledge and understanding of WHMIS;
  • Valid driver's license;
  • Mechanical aptitude;
  • Bilingual (French and English);
  • Autonomous and take initiative.
