YOUR ROLE
As a 703/704 Chief Pilot, you will be responsible for supervising flight crews while ensuring compliance with current regulations and internal policies. You will play a key role in crew management, pilot training, and the continuous improvement of operational practices.
  • Assist the Operations Manager in pilot management, including interviews and hiring.
  • Develop, update, and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Develop, update, revise, and implement all approved training programs required for Propair flight crews.
  • Provide guidance and instructions to flight crews.
  • Distribute and follow up on accident, incident, and other aviation event reports.
  • Review and follow up on reports submitted by flight crew members.
  • Supervise flight crews.
  • Carry out responsibilities delegated by the Operations Manager.

Requested skills

Professional Requirements
  • Valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with a Group 1 Instrument Rating.
  • Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
  • Minimum of 3000 flight hours, including 1000 hours as a multi-engine turbine Captain.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Captain on an aircraft operated under Subpart 704 or 705.
  • Minimum of 500 hours on Beech 1900D.
  • Experience on King Air A100 (an asset).
Operational Requirements
  • In-depth knowledge of Transport Canada's Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) Part 700 related to flight operations;
  • Must meet TSA requirements to be authorized for training in the United States.
Skills 
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and make strategic decisions.
  • Experience supervising transport crews (an asset).
