YOUR ROLE

  • Ensure proper scheduling and follow-up of flight timetables;
  • Park aircraft on the ramp based on available space, departure times, baggage transfer requirements, and wind direction;
  • Place required safety and signaling equipment around aircraft at the client's request;
  • Verify labels on each piece of luggage/box to ensure they are sent on the correct flights;
  • Sort baggage upon receipt on the baggage belts;
  • Perform basic mechanical checks and complete maintenance forms for used machinery;
  • Operate forklifts, tractors, and mules as needed to transport baggage and cargo to the aircraft;
  • Handle the loading and unloading of cargo onboard aircraft;
  • Ensure ramp safety;
  • Manage client service priorities based on their requests and departure times;
  • Oversee fuel quality and management (Jet-A and 100LL);
  • De-ice aircraft before takeoff if surfaces are contaminated (snow, ice, frost);
  • Clean the interior and exterior of Propair aircraft;
  • Reconfigure seating or layouts in Propair aircraft as required;
  • Decontaminate medical equipment after patient transport;
  • Assist the warehouse with cargo preparation for flights;
  • Handle the receipt of fuel trucks and prepare valves for filling fuel tanks according to the plan.

Requested skills

Professional Requirements:

  • High school diploma completed;
  • One (1) to two (2) years of experience in physical labor;
  • Any other combination of relevant education and years of experience will be considered;
  • Possession of a forklift operator certification would be an asset.

Operational Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills:

  • Ability to plan and organize effectively;
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills;
  • Good physical condition (lifting weights, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, etc.);
  • Strong focus on workplace safety.
