\nRole & Responsibilities:\n\n
- \n\t
- Provide technical support or training for systems and networks\n\t \n
- Provide daily support to all users\n\t \n
- Act as the link between end users and higher-level support\n\t \n
- Monitor system and network performance\n\t \n
- Perform troubleshooting, repairs and data restoration\n\t \n
- Performance maintenance activities (e.g. backups)\n\t \n
- Maintain licenses and upgrade schedules\n\t \n
- Collaborate with other professionals to maintain standards and functionality\n\t \n
- Implements backups of data following standard backup procedures and maintains documentation of systems pertinent to operations and system administration\n\t \n
- Provide regular incident reports back to business owners with root cause analysis of priority incidents\n\t \n
- Setting up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices\n\t \n
- Installing and configuring appropriate software and functions according to specifications\n\t \n
- Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance\n\t \n
- Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems\n\t \n
- Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment\n\t \n
- Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)\n\t \n
- Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule\n\t \n
- Identify computer or network equipment shortage\n \n
\nQualifications / Requirements:\n\n
- \n\t
- 1 or more years of experience as IT Technician or relevant position\n\t \n
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills\n\t \n
- Excellent communication ability\n\t \n
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite\n\t \n
- Knowledge in Office 365 and SharePoint Online\n\t \n
- Knowledge in PMIS tools is ideal \n\t \n
- Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management\n\t \n
- Some knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery\n\t \n
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude\n\t \n
- Organizational and time-management skills\n\t \n
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, engineering or relevant field\n \n
