Your role and challenge:

With your proactivity, interpersonal skills, and initiative, you will support Canadian and American sales directors in the company's growth and ensure the rapid and efficient handling of customer inquiries in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You will report to the sales director based in Farnham and assist in the production of reports, statistics, and KPIs. Additionally, you will collaborate with the sales director's team and be responsible for leading the administrative and clerical sales support team. You will supervise a small group of staff and contribute to the development of processes and procedures. You will be responsible for:

  • Drafting quotes and follow-ups for 8 sales directors in Canada and the United States;
  • Analyzing orders: logistics, coherence, needs;
  • Proposing solutions or options to optimize customer service based on your analyses;
  • Coordinating customer follow-ups during the sales directors' vacations.

You'll administer the customer management system (CRM):

  • Integrate and ensure rigorous updates of CRM data;
  • Enter all sales opportunities for active or potential clients.

You'll provide customer service:

  • Establish and maintain an excellent relationship with current clients and ensure their satisfaction;
  • Respond to customer inquiries via the online chat platform;
  • Conduct post-sales follow-ups;
  • Participate annually in a trade show in the United States.

You will supervise the internal sales team:

  • Managing key indicators of the internal sales department;
  • Handling the administrative management of sales initiatives;
  • Supervising a team of 3-4 sales administrative coordinators;
  • Training the team on processes and systems.

Requested skills

To be part of the team, you possess:

  • Post-secondary education in administration, business management, marketing or a related discipline is an asset.
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills (mainly for the US clientele);
  • Post-secondary education in administration, business management, marketing, or a related field is an asset;
  • A minimum of three years of experience in sales, project management, and/or customer service within a manufacturing or distribution company;
  • A minimum of three years of team management experience;
  • Excellent communication skills, professionalism, organizational skills, and customer service orientation;
  • Intermediate computer skills (ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, HubSpot, etc.);
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Suite (Business 365 is an asset);
  • Good ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, ease of working in a team;
  • Autonomy, versatility, rigor, attention to detail, and motivational leadership.
