Job Summary
The role works heavily with RBC bank partners as well as internally with our Regional & Managing Directors, Investment Advisors & Counsellors as well as our Associate teams and Branch Management groups. This is for an 8-month term.
Job Description
What will you do?
- Work with various partners of Wealth Management Canada in developing new strategic initiatives to drive a holistic wealth management offer for high-net worth individuals and families.
- Support Investment Advisors and Counsellors in strengthening Partnerships in local markets and helping train in policy and process.
- Develop and maintain strategic insights for Partnerships and provide in depth analysis on identified opportunities and strategic initiatives.
- Maintain a strong network of partners internal and external to Wealth Management Canada.
- Participates in and supports the operational activities of a business unit. Applies experience and complete working knowledge of the job and policies/practices to perform a combination of routine tasks and varied administrative/operational assignments.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
- Previous experience in banking or financial services
- Ability to build strong relationships and work in a cross-functional team
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with often changing deadlines
Nice-to-have
- Previous experience and understanding of the Wealth Management industry
- Previous experience with Tableau & Salesforce
Please note:
In order tobe eligible for these student positions, you must either:
- Bereturning backto school after the work term end-date; or
- If you are not returning back to school (i.e.are graduating immediately after the work term), you must require the full work term as a mandatory component in order to graduate successfully
