What is the opportunity?
In the role of Executive Assistant, you will provide administrative support to the Managing Director and Head of the Investment Solutions team of RBC Global Asset Management (RBC GAM), a North American-based asset manager with global scope and industry leading investment management capabilities. RBC GAM manages approximately C$717 billion in assets worldwide on behalf of institutional and individual investors through mutual funds, pooled funds, hedge funds, segregated accounts and specialty investment strategies. What will you do?

  • Provide administrative support to the Managing Director and Head of Investment Solutions and other senior executives in the team

  • Closely monitor and maintain emails

  • Manage and maintain complex calendars for three senior executives

  • Organize and plan travel arrangements

  • Complete expense reports and reconcile Amex statements on a timely basis

  • Review monthly expenses to the transit and correct any errors

  • Support all employees of the Investment Solutions team with vacation tracking, building pass cards, Workday, and HR needs

  • Onboard and offboard employees

  • Lead the Coop Networking Program for students on rotation

  • A member of the Health & Safety Committee

  • Provide coverage/support to other Executive Assistants

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have

  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills (including written)

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and Adobe

  • Proactive, well organized, able to deal with multiple tasks and changing priorities

  • Able to work independently, self-motivated, eager and able to learn

  • High level of professionalism and discretion

  • Open to take on new responsibilities

Nice to Have

  • Some knowledge of financial and investment industry

  • 2+ years of Executive Assistant experience
