What is the opportunity?

In this role you will implement innovative acquisition and net client growth marketing strategies within targeted marketing channels including digital programmatic channels to drive business growth for Life, Health, Wealth, Travel, Home& Auto.

This role reports into the Sr. Marketing Manager, Client Acquisition and Growth and will work closely with a highly specialized team of marketers and senior business partners to deliver innovative and industry leading acquisition and net client growth programs for RBC Insurance. This individual will help lead the development and execution of high-impact, quantifiable integrated marketing plans and initiatives.

*Please note this is a contract role.

What will you do?

  • Championing the use of innovative, leading edge marketing practices, the Marketing Manager will drive net client growth for RBC Insurance through the flawless execution of high impact campaigns.
  • The desired candidate wont be afraid to propose new ideas that push traditional boundaries. They will constantly be looking to optimize and find ways to generate high-impact ROI.
  • Theyll be the catalyst in the collaboration with cross-functional teams to gain and share knowledge, resources, opportunities, and executional expertise to continue to position RBC Insurance as a leader in a very dynamic and competitive marketplace.
  • You will contribute to annual and campaign planning processes, taking both a data and client insight-driven approach to fuel marketing opportunities and campaigns, including the development and
  • execution of the existing RBCI acquisition and cross-sell strategies
  • Lead the entire execution of campaigns from the development of the execution strategy and selling it through to the business leadership team, briefing internal and external partners, being the point of contact for all teams and ensuring the data, creative and sales teams deliver their deliverables on time and on budget.
  • Coordinate tracking results and assist in the development of post-campaign analysis with other cross-functional areas such as research, client analytics, campaign reporting and media vendors. Identify and track relevant key campaign performance indicators to ensure alignment with goals and make recommendations for optimization and efficiency opportunities.
  • Manage budgets associated with your campaigns, including forecasting, receiving, and processing estimates and invoices, tracking and reporting.

What will you need to succeed?

  • 5 years marketing experience preferably in direct marketing or digital marketing.
  • Extensive and proven experience planning and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns including:
    • Database marketing
    • Digital/Social marketing
    • Direct marketing/email marketing
  • Strong project and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
  • A creative eye combined with a keen attention to detail
  • A positive, professional, and responsible attitude; independent and self-directed with a strong ability to work collaboratively.

Nice-to-have

  • Insurance or Financial Services experience
