Global Functions Technology (GFT) is part of RBCs Technology and Operations division. GFTs impact is far-reaching as we collaborate with partners from across the company to deliver innovative and transformative IT solutions. Our clients represent Risk, Finance, HR, CAO, Audit, Legal, Compliance, Financial Crime, Capital Markets, Personal and Commercial Banking and Wealth Management. We also lead the development of digital tools and platforms to enhance collaboration.

The Compliance Technology team is responsible for supporting our Capital Markets and Wealth Management global Compliance partners to provide Trade Surveillance and Know-Your-Employee solutions.

Job Description

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

RBCs Global Functions Techs IDEA team is looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst Lead to join the team. The lead will be part of IDEAs Innovation team with a focus on documenting data requirements for the various projects with an emphasis on Gen AI projects within IDEA, GFT or across various domains and business units across RBC. The lead will be responsible for identifying data requirements gaps, create process documentation, design business processes etc. He/She will be required to engage with senior Data Architects, IT System Owners, Business Analysts, Data Stewards, Data Owners to drive the Gen AI standardization effort across different Lines of Business (LOBs) and functions (Front Office, Operations, Market Risk & Finance etc.). The lead may also be required to mentor Business Analysts and guide them to be effective and productive at their work.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Work with the Innovation Lead and Program Manager to ensure all business documentation is up to date.
  • Lead meetings with senior stakeholders to gather and document data requirements.
  • Prepare mapping documents and business specifications.
  • Analyze requirements, identify gaps and propose sourcing and delivery strategy.
  • Work in determining Cost Benefit Analysis of the various Gen AI initiatives.
  • Build relationships with business and technical stakeholders to ensure that collaborative work
  • Conduct research and analyze market data to understand industry trends related to GenAI and examples of success within the relevant field.
  • In collaboration with business, identify areas for process improvement, and collaborate with team leaders and decision makers to design and implement solutions.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, engineering
  • Experience with systems using Predictive AI or Generative AI
  • Deep understanding of AI concepts like Machine Learning, Neural Networks, NLP etc.
  • Process mapping experience.
  • Exposure to data analysis techniques like data cleaning, visualization etc.

Nice-to-have:

  • AI Product Management experience
  • AI Research experience
  • Domain Knowledge in at least on of HR, Risk Management, Finance.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS of GCP
