What is the opportunity?

The Joint Security Operations Centre (JSOC) Digital Development team is constantly undertaking complex development initiatives within Global Cyber Security.
We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer who is passionate about quality and driven to improve the testing processes within our organization. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and implementing effective test strategies, overseeing QA automation activates, and ensuring the quality of our applications through both manual and automated testing.

What will you do?

  • Design, develop, and execute test strategies to ensure high-quality product releases across multiple platforms.

  • Own responsibility for end-to-end product quality, including defect management, status reporting, and metrics creation.

  • Coordinate and participate in requirements review/story elaborations and testing activities to deliver high-quality products and incremental value with every iteration.

  • Oversee QA automation activities, guiding on best practices, frameworks, and approaches.

  • Work closely with product and development teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.

  • Analyze testing results, report defects, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues effectively.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with proven expertise in test strategies, planning, estimations, and execution in variety of environments.

  • 2+ years of experience with API automation and manual execution of API calls using tools such as Postman.

  • Experience in testing UI components.

  • Proficiency maintaining test automation frameworks, using tools like Selenium & Pytest.

  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

  • Hands-on experience in Python and SQL/NoSQL Databases.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience building in-house testing frameworks using Pytest.

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

  • Knowledge of performance and load testing tools (e.g., Jmeter, LoadRunner).
