What is the opportunity?

The Manager, Project Delivery will contribute to the overall success of RBC Thought Leadership by delivering on strategic ambitions around critical issues affecting the countrys economy in support of our mission to inspire Canadian prosperity.

This role involves supporting senior members of the Thought Leadership Strategy team across a wide range of activities and initiatives, including executing strategic projects as well as optimizing team operations. It offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leaders, gain exposure to thought leaders on key issues driving Canadas economy (such as disruptive technology, human capital, climate action), and grow your expertise in strategic delivery and project management.

The ideal candidate is a go-getter with experience supporting cross-functional collaborations, improving organizational processes, and executing high-impact projects. They have a passion for tackling business problems and an interest in the key issues that shape our national agenda across policy and industry.

What will you do?

  • Support Thought Leadership strategy with market and competitive analyses, audience insights, and impact measurement, analytics, and reporting.
  • Support Thought Leadership platform and strategy leads by distributing content, following up with key contacts, writing briefing notes, and preparing materials for meetings and workshops.
  • Develop proposals and presentations to assist communications with internal and external stakeholders, including RBC senior leadership, top clients, and industry partners.
  • Organize and maintain shared drives and folders, update stakeholder contact databases, document processes, update procedure manuals, and capture and store meeting minutes.
  • Help create effective marketing and promotional campaigns to amplify the work of the broader Thought Leadership team and track and analyze results to improve future performance.
  • Track and report on Thought Leadership team activities and update leaders and stakeholders as needed.
  • Independently manage and execute other special projects as assigned.
  • Work with a dynamic, high-performing team shaping the future of Canada.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • 3-5 years in business strategy development, project management, operations, or related areas.
  • Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset and passion for problem-solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strategic thinker with a keen interest in driving prosperity and tackling Canadas most pressing challenges.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment while consistently meeting high standards of quality.
  • Ability to work as a team player while demonstrating diplomacy, professionalism, and positivity.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, embrace change, and be highly adaptable.
  • Experience building & maintaining relationships with external stakeholders.

Nice-to-have

  • Previous experience in a large, global leading Financial Institution or consulting firm
  • Digital and social media savvy, with a strong grasp on the evolving digital media landscape
