The Compliance Technology team is responsible for supporting our Capital Markets and Wealth Management global Compliance partners to provide Trade Surveillance and Know-Your-Employee solutions.

We are looking for a Senior Big Data developer to join the Finance Risk Data and Analytic (FRIDA) team to design and build scalable data pipelines to support the strategic data sourcing needs for the Finance and Risk business groups. As a Sr Developer, you will be required to collaborate with project manager/scrum master, product owner, chapter lead, business analysts, developers, quality checkers, release management and production support to develop and deliver streamlined solutions to acquire, transform and provision, and ingest data sets into Hadoop environment. The incumbent must thrive on challenge, be proactive and dynamic, and demonstrate initiative and eagerness to learn.

What will you do?

• Developing the standardization of the Data set across various source systems using Java.
• Provision data sets for consumers from upstream systems, including all the products and related reference data processed by those systems and ensure this can be delivered in time to meet their expected SLAs
• Configure the data mappings, enrichments and rule derivations using shared components
• Ensure the data adheres to our data quality standards and data transfer controls and raising fixes to the data providers where necessary and data quality checks
• Configure the dependencies and event triggers to orchestrate the batch jobs automatically via job scheduler
• Work closely with Product Owner, team members and consumers to carry out development and ensure there are implementation change plans ahead of testing and release
• Regularly monitor production feeds to ensure they continue to meet consumer SLAs
• Managing and Implementing the existing CI/CD pipelines for the applications we support.

MUST HAVE

• Minimum of 5 years relevant development and design experience such as OO, web services (Restful)
• 3+ years of programming languages (Java, shell script, Python)
• 3+ years in Java Spring Boot development
• 3+ years of database development (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, SQL)
• 3+ years in working in Agile/Scrum environment
• Proficiency in XML and JSON technologies

NICE TO HAVE

• 3+ years of big data development including Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, Spark, Scala
• Background in financial services industry
• Experience in CI/CD and Source Control Management : Jenkins, Maven, GITHub
• Experience in Agile tools: Confluence, Jira
