The Accounts Receivable Administrator role will provide administrative support to Accounts Receivable department and collaborate with other departments within the organization. This position is primarily responsible for performing adjustments, reactivations and system generated daily tasks, including responding to other department inquiries, coordinating with team members, and handling various back-office administrative tasks.
What will you do?
- Post and transfer payments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Trace payments using various applications, adapting to changes in tools as needed.
- Address tasks and resolve bugs in SAP workflows, meeting department timelines and standards.
- Track progress, perform data entry of completed tasks, and monitor workflows to ensure timely completion.
- Provide administrative support for reactivation, fire and flood cases, and adjustment requests from other departments.
- Maintain daily records to support month-end reporting, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates.
- Handle inbound inquiries through the portal, efficiently addressing customer and departmental requests.
- Maintain daily tracking for month-end reporting, providing accurate data and updates as required.
- Manage inbound inquiries through the portal, addressing customer and other Dept. requests efficiently and professionally.
- Support customer and law office inbound queue to answer calls relating to request submitted through Portal.
What do you bring?
- Post-secondary education and equivalent work experience
- Minimum 2 to 3 years previous administrative experience, AR or accounting department preferred.
- Previous experience working with SAP systems considered an asset.
- Strong analytical skills with emphasis on detail and accuracy
- Strong customer service experience providing guidance and direction
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Responsive and easily adapts to change.
- Strong Microsoft office skills (MS Office, Word, Excel)
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Highly motivated self-starter able to take initiative and problem solve.
- Team player comfortable working as part of a close-knit team
