Our expectations:

The Program Manager director, supervises and inspires a team of managers who develop, plan, implement and optimize commercial programs related to home services, in-store PROs, Protection Plans and Canadian Energy Savings programs for all RONA, RONA+ and Reno Depot stores in Canada. He is the strategic and operational link between merchandising teams, marketing, product and service providers, and Government and store operations to position the company as a leader in home improvement in Canada.

Under the supervision of the Divisional Vice-President, Pro and Installation Services, he contributes to establishing the business plan and budgets of his business units for all stores and banners in Canada

Your role

  • Leads a team of managers and specialists in the development of Programs and Strategies for the PRO division, facilities services, protection plans as well as Canadian energy efficiency programs that will be executed by the field teams and stores.
  • Responsible, with his program managers for omnichannel marketing strategies for his business units. This includes, but is not limited to, major professional events, facilities and protection plans, as well as business events and trade shows. In addition, he contributes, in collaboration with the other sales and marketing teams, to circular strategies, store display, social networks, website, "mailblasts".
  • Responsible for sales, margin and leads for the Facilities and Protection Plans business units. Contributes to the achievement of the PRO in-store sales division's results and to the growth of market share in the country.
  • Work closely with the Field Manager to recruit the installer network and mobilize stores in Canada. Within the framework of the national programs, is responsible for the coverage of the installer network and the training of stores.
  • Work closely with Merchandising Directors and Vice Presidents when developing category reviews to position their services and strategies in the right places in this customer sales cycle.
  • Responsible for the development and negotiation of national trade agreements with service and product providers, facilities and protection plans that have a direct impact on the company's margins.
  • Act as a representative of Rona Inc to government authorities to monitor energy efficiency programs for its business units and all merchandising teams.
  • Responsible for maintaining a monitoring of PRO product lists and working in collaboration with the marketing and supply chain teams to develop price lists, validate inventories and job lot quantities and market them in the pro sector of the country's stores.
  • Responsible for communications for the stores, field teams, call and support center and the installer network in the country.
  • Establish competitive intelligence for all business units and adapt strategies as needed to meet sales and profitability objectives.

The qualifications we are looking for

  • Degree in business administration or related field;
  • More than 10 years of experience in detail.
  • Experience in construction or marketing an asset.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Office 365 suite
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Power automate and Power apps.
  • Negotiation skills;
  • Ability to carry out several projects simultaneously;
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage well his time
  • Proven sales and sales training skills;
  • Ability to travel
