Your role

• Serves as the primary resource and contact for product placement within the Rona dealer network
• Analyzes the merchandising strategy to determine the space needed to achieve sales targets.
• Selects products identified in the merchandising strategy according to variations.
• Implements the merchandising strategy for rona dealer network.
• Prepares planograms based on the strategy and the needs of different markets.
• Drafts the required documentation to execute planograms according to Rona standards.
• Provides the operations team and Rona dealers with the necessary documentation for executing planograms.
• Keeps planogram databases up to date and ensures data retention.
• Leads and/or actively participates in various category review meetings.
• Tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) for which they are responsible.
• Monitors best practices in their field of expertise and makes recommendations to their immediate supervisor when necessary.
• Maintains and develops healthy relationships with internal and external collaborators involved in their projects.
• Visits stores, labs, or supplier facilities as needed to physically validate planogram.

The qualifications we are looking for

• College or university degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Relevant experience in merchandising or planogramming in retail.
• Experience with Blue Yonder and Space Planning software or other similar software.
• Team management experience (an asset)
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and Rona dealers.
• Analytical mindset.
• High attention to detail and strong project management skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to support multiple teams.
• Ability to work in a transforming environment.
