Our expectations
Reporting to the FP&A Manager, the FP&A Analyst will lead revenue analyses for RONA’s corporately owned stores and its Pro (B2B) business. The chosen candidate will support the finance team and business partners in the follow-up of results, action plans, forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning to help achieve financial objectives.
Your role
- Act as a financial business partner to the Operations and Pro team leaders.
- Analyze and interpret financial results related to the Sales & Margin for the corporate stores.
- Participate in the forecasts and budget of the Pro & Retail business, as well as monitor variances between actual results and the budget on a periodic basis.
- Support business partners in the development of action plans and monitor results.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis to explain results and identify opportunities.
- Participate in the business case for new projects and make recommendations on them.
The qualifications we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
- 3-5 years of experience in a financial role.
- Experience in the retail industry is an asset.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented with a focus on delivering high quality work.
- Ability to speak in front of a group and can explain financial concepts to the public.
- Excellent analytical, synthesis skills and show initiative and dynamism.
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork and multi-stakeholder collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly growing environment.
- Excellent knowledge of IT tools including Excel
