Our expectations

Under the supervision of the IT Manager, the IT analyst will be responsible for various tasks related to IT operations, including managing the Appworx task scheduler and IT environments. These tasks include, but are not limited to, writing knowledge base articles, training IT operators, coordinating and assisting with IT maintenance, integrating alerts into the event management console, and processing requests through our ServiceNow ticketing system. This position may occasionally require working outside of normal business hours.

Your role

  • The role of the IT Operations Analyst is to ensure the smooth operation and optimization of processes followed by operators, as well as the coordination and preparation of maintenance plans for various teams.

  • Operator Support: Analyze incidents, schedules, knowledge bases, and existing processes to propose improvements to increase operational efficiency. Ensure proactive monitoring of IT schedules to identify and resolve issues before they affect operations. Train IT operators on new processes, best practices, and procedures.

  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to users and internal teams to resolve issues and answer questions regarding IT systems and applications.

  • Documentation: Write and maintain documentation, including knowledge bases, procedures, and operator guides.

  • Environment Coordination: Develop maintenance plans and coordinate them as needed. Manage different IT environments (development, testing, production) and ensure they are properly configured and synchronized.

  • Alert and Notification Management: Integrate and manage alerts in event management systems to ensure a quick response to incidents.

The qualifications we are looking for

  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a medium to large-scale company in the IT field as an IT Operations Analyst.

  • Knowledge of the scheduler: Appworx.

  • Familiarity with monitoring tools: Solarwinds, Splunk, Grafana.

  • Familiarity with collaboration tools: JIRA and Confluence.

  • Practical knowledge of the ServiceNow ticketing tool.

  • Ability to plan, organize work, and manage priorities.

  • Ability to work in a team.

  • Concern for the quality of results. etc.

  • Have practical knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
