Our expectations
Reporting to the Manager - Finance, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for participating in the analysis of the E-Commerce business’ sales and margin performance. In collaboration with the online teams (merchandising, marketing, analytics, and operations) the financial Analyst will be responsible for reporting, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Your role
- Act as a financial business partner for the E-Commerce team.
- Reporting on the Sales and Margin performance on a daily and weekly basis; providing analysis of the key drivers.
- Support the marketing team in forecasting and impact of promotion on sales and margin; and doing a postmortem of the completed promotions.
- Working closely with the online merchandising team in building the budget and forecast for sales and margin.
- Building the contribution P&L for the online department and analyzing the key drivers for the EBIDTA variance.
- Participate in ad-hoc financial analysis requested from business partners.
The qualifications we are looking for
- Bachelor's/Master's in Accounting, Business, Finance, Analytics, or related quantitative fields;
- 2 years of relevant experience as a financial analyst.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (Power Pivots, Power Query, VBA)
- Experience with analytical tools and visualization tools (SQL, Python, PowerBI) would be an asset.
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple competing priorities.
- Experience working with large data sets.
