Your role:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage employees’ work and evaluate their productivity according to the daily volume of each sector under your responsibility
- Ensure daily operations are completed according to set quality and productivity standards
- Follow up on quality and productivity results within your team
- Take necessary measures concerning employees who do not comply with set quality and productivity standards
- Manage human resources in the team, in a unionized environment
- Ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness rules and company policies at the distribution centre while respecting the Collective Bargaining Agreement
- Foster a good working environment within your team, and promote the company’s values daily
- Complete and analyze various documents and reports, make necessary corrections, and submit recommendations to the manager to improve operations
- Perform any other related tasks
Schedule: Monday to Friday 6:15AM to 3:15PM
What we're looking for:
- DEC in Logistics, GOP, Procurement, Administration
- 2 years' experience in a similar position
- Any combination of relevant education and work experience will be considered
- Experience managing unionized personnel
- Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Experience working with an integrated warehouse management system (WMS)
- Excellent communication skills, customer service skills and ability to work under pressure
