Your role :
Reporting to the Senior Director, Culture and Talent Development, the Senior Advisor, Organizational Development plays a key role in leadership development, aligning with RONA’s mission and business and cultural priorities. They ensure implementation in collaboration with various stakeholders, while promoting the adoption of best practices, standards and learning strategies in line with industry standards. The incumbent is also committed to implementing key employee engagement programs, such as culture, leadership development, organizational survey, and diversity and inclusion programs. Beyond ensuring the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of these programs, they are also a subject matter expert for the entire organization.
- Help design and implement engagement, culture, and diversity and inclusion programs across our Canadian network (stores, distribution centres and head office).
- Gather and analyze talent data and translate it into practical actions to support their development.
- Develop and facilitate multiple development and/or team-building workshops.
- Create guides and tools and provide training to support internal clients.
- Work closely with their respective human resources business partners, and empower and support them in applying and monitoring programs.
- Actively participate in implementing our corporate culture and act as an ambassador.
- Contribute to the strategy and coordination of leadership programs.
- Collaborate with the Senior Director and various projects related to diversity and inclusion, including piloting organizational resource groups (ORGs).
- Collaborate with external service providers and rigorously monitors the progress of projects and activities, and ensure objectives, expectations and contracts remain clear.
- Build strong relationships based on trust, collaboration and integrity.
- Continuously update expertise and contribute to continuous department improvement.
The qualifications we are looking for :
- University degree in a relevant field (training, organizational development), with a master’s degree being an asset.
- At least 8 to 10 years’ experience in organizational development within a national or international company.
- French and English fluency (spoken and written).
- Proficiency with the Office 365 suite and organizational survey tools.
- Excellent ability to influence without direct authority.
- Excellent knowledge of project management and organizational development (leadership, culture, engagement, EDI).
- Ability to act as a strategic partner to meet business requirements in a complex and dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain harmonious relationships.
- Self-starter able to take on several files simultaneously through an organized, structured and rigorous approach.
- Experience in the retail industry (asset).
