Become an essential part of the Rona team, and lead the activities related to key departments such as appliances and kitchen. You will have the opportunity to develop a professional team, optimize sales and customer service, and play a central role in the success of our store. Your expertise will help us deliver outstanding customer service and achieve ambitious targets, while providing a stimulating and rewarding environment for your career.
Your role:
- Manage all inventory, merchandising, sales and customer service activities in departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Millwork, Home Décor and Paint
- Ensure a professional sales staff is always in place to drive and achieve business goals
- Model the behaviors that are needed to deliver SMART customer service, maintain an in-stock position, and keep the store clean and safe for customers
- Identify gaps in the sales process as well as opportunities by analyzing reports, observing sales interactions, role-playing and considering other feedback channels to create specific action plans to improve sales and margin performance
- Collaborate with various members of the management team and all store personnel to ensure that everyone plays their part in managing the daily sales pipeline; ensure that Sales Associates properly manage and take full advantage of bids, leads, estimates, proposals and customer interactions
- Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly
What we're looking for:
- 3 years of experience leading associates in a retail environment
- 1 year of experience managing a successful sales team directly related to retail, business to business, outside sales, or consumer service industry
- Knowledge of products such as flooring, cabinets, or appliances
- Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional work environment
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Any combination of relevant education and professional experience will be considered
