Math Foundations 20 and 30, Math Workplace and Apprenticeship 30, Pre-Calculus 30 Teacher

Sask DLC requires a temporary full- time (1.0 FTE) Math Foundations 10 and 20, Math Workplace and Apprenticeship 30, and Pre-Calculus 30 Teacher to be assigned at one of our regional campus locations across the province based on the principal residence of the successful candidates. This position is not remote or virtual work from home. The start date is as soon as possible based on the availability of the successful candidate and concludes January 30, 2025 with the possibility of being extended based on Semester 2 enrolment.

The teaching assignment will include Grade 11 and 12 Math Core Curriculum - Goals, Outcomes, and Indicators.

Experience in secondary Mathematics curriculum, online teaching or online program supervision, and level 30 (Grade 12) accreditation is mandatory for this position.

Sask DLC delivers online learning programs to students across the province. Our head office is located in Kenaston, with an administrative office in Regina, and nine regional campuses located in Swift Current, Moose Jaw, Estevan, Yorkton, Saskatoon, Nipawin, Prince Albert, Neilburg and La Ronge.

As an online instructor, you will work with students in an online environment and will in most cases, be the primary point of contact for our students. We are looking to recruit teachers who seek to understand the challenges of online learning and strive to create real connections with our students, bridging the distance between them.

collaboration with colleagues on course development;

knowledge of curriculum outcomes and indicators;

current instruction and assessment practices; and

commitment to work collaboratively with all staff to carry out the mission and vision of Sask DLC.

Experience with technologies such as Clevr, Moodle, MySchoolSask, and online communication software would be considered an asset.
