ON-CALL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANTS

Richmond School District operates 38 elementary schools, 10 secondary schools, alternate programs, continuing education and a number of additional facilities. The district enrolls approximately 21,000 students (K-12) and employs over 3000 dedicated staff.
School District No. 38 (Richmond) requires clerical staff interested in part-time or full-time employment. Successful candidates are hired on-call and given the opportunity to remain on-call or work part-time or full-time hours by applying to internal vacancies. Applicants should possess several years of recent experience as an Administrative Assistant plus business education courses.

You offer:
Professionalism, accuracy, attention to detail, plus excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills;
At least one year experience working in an office setting;
A high level of competency in word processing with a minimum typing speed of 45/wpm;
Proficient working with Excel, Word, PowerPoint;
Experience with basic bookkeeping and spreadsheets;
Mobility within Richmond and availability to work on short notice.
The salary is $30.92 per hour, which includes a percentage in lieu of sick and vacation pay.
