POSTING DATE: January 20, 2025SCHOOL: YouLearn.ca-OL (onsite in Oliver) POSTING: #68 - 2024/25 POSITION: Elementary Online Learning Teacher APPOINTMENT: 0.4 FTE Temporary START DATE OR DURATION: As soon as possible to April 21, 2025 or return of incumbent (not to exceed June 30, 2025) Qualifications Required: education degree with a literacy or numeracy focus; recent successful experience teaching distributed learning at the elementary levels with significant experience working with Office365, Moodle and Google Classroom as platforms; ability to adapt curriculum, programs, and instruction to meet the diverse needs of all students in a distributed learning setting; ability to model, teach and foster social, emotional and cultural awareness; knowledge of current 21st century pedagogy and assessment practices; demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to the professional community at the school and district level; effective communication, interpersonal, organizational and classroom management skills; ability to integrate technologies and digital citizenship into educational programs; andBC Professional Teaching Certificate and current eligibility for Teacher Qualification Service card.
