SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST - MERRITT

School District No. 58 (Nicola-Similkameen) is seeking a full-time continuing

Speech-Language Pathologist to serve Merritt beginning September 1, 2022.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Must possess a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

Must be a member, or eligible to become a member, of the BCASLPA or CASLPA.

Proven willingness to work as part of an educational team providing speech-language services with emphasis on students at the elementary level.

Experience working within a school and community health environment.

Salary is based on the teachers’ salary grid, with a full range of benefits available and a mileage allowance while on the job will be provided.

Merritt makes up the major communities of the Nicola-Similkameen School District. Merritt is located in the Nicola Valley and is the hub of a freeway system that links Kamloops, Kelowna and Vancouver. Ranching, mining, tourism and forestry are four of the major economic industries in the Nicola Valley.
