Sherbrooke O.E.M is looking for a dynamic person to join our designer team, in a thriving company that is passionate about innovation and the environment.

We want to creatively improve the efficiency of a separation or sorting process of our custom-made recycling systems. The result is increased recycling capacity and/or higher quality recycled products for market or downstream uses.

By clearly defining our mandate with each customer, whatever the nature of the project - be it specially designed handling equipment or a fully automated plant - we fully determine each critical factor. Only after resolving all issues does the engineering team start to draft various designs that will meet all the project criteria and respect design limitations. This approach enables us to take on all types of projects and provide our customers with optimum solutions.

We are looking for a solution-oriented person who can easily juggle several projects at the same time.

Requested skills

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge in the software Solidworks and Autocad
  • 2D and 3D concepts
  • Diploma in indsutrial design or equivlant schooling and work experiences.
  • A keen sense of mechanics
  • Ability to work on several projects at a time
  • Able to work alone and in a team
  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge of the Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point) and PDF Creator
  • Fluency in English and French (both oral and written)
