Description
Our client is seeking 2 Senior ETL administrators (10+ years) to implement procedures to maintain, monitor, backup, and recover ETL environment within the financial services industry (Remote).
Responsibilities
- Implement procedures to maintain, monitor, backup, and recover the ETL environment.
- Report regularly on health and performance of ETL environment and jobs.
- Perform import and export ETL jobs across various ETL projects and servers.
- Conduct ETL optimization, troubleshooting, and debugging.
- Perform and assume other duties and responsibilities, as necessary.
- Work to proactively identify ETL problems and implement mitigation.
- Collaborate with ETL developers and teams to implement ETL solutions and fixes.
- Monitor, report, and troubleshoot performance problem with the ETL processes.
- When necessary, work with infrastructure teams, data engineering teams, and ETL developers to resolve performance issues.
- Record and maintain procedural information.
- Provide detailed analysis of problems and recommend potential solutions.
- Troubleshoot production ETL jobs as necessary.
