Description
Our client is looking for a Change Management Specialist to lead for change management activities on the organization’s enterprise-wide digital transformation initiative
Contract; half time from May - September, rising to full time for about 12 months; hybrid model
Must Haves:
- 3-5 years of experience in change management role leading change initiatives in complex organizational settings.
- Project Management: Familiarity with project management methodologies and experience managing or contributing to project teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), and experience with change management or project management software tools.
- Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Prosci, Kotter’s 8-Step Change Model).
Nice to Haves:
- Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci, ACMP)
Deliverables:
- Develop and Implement Change Management Plans: Consult with staff and member across departments to design, implement, and manage comprehensive change management plans that align with project goals, timelines, and overall business strategy.
- Lead Change Management Initiatives: Facilitate and lead change management activities for the Service Re-Imagined project, ensuring all changes are successfully integrated into the organization.
- Conduct Impact Assessments: Analyze the potential impacts of project changes on various stakeholder groups, identifying risks and areas for improvement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and buy-in for project changes. Act as the primary point of contact for change management concerns.
- Training and Support: Help execute training strategies that equip employees with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate and adapt to changes.
- Communication Management: Working closely with the organization’s communication team, create and deliver clear, concise, and timely communication materials (e.g., newsletters, presentations, emails) that outline the goals, progress, and benefits of the change initiatives.
- Track and Report Adoption Metrics: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to change adoption, making adjustments to strategies as necessary to ensure success.
- Change Management Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior change management team members and other project stakeholders on best practices and methodologies for managing change.
- Continuous Improvement: Assess the effectiveness of change management processes and recommend adjustments based on feedback, performance, and lessons learned.
- Assess change readiness levels through qualitative and quantitative feedback mechanisms.
- Respond in real-time to obstacles, questions, or concerns from stakeholders by adjusting plans to mitigate disruption and increase the likelihood of successful outcomes.
- Collaborate with project leadership to ensure any risks to adoption or engagement are swiftly addressed with appropriate action.
