CMDB ServiceNow Consultant - 21415, 21508

Our Public Sector Client is looking for a CMDB ServiceNow Consultant- 21415, 21508

Initial contract goes till end of 2025. Hybrid working model: 2 days/per week in the office in Burnaby.

Must-Haves:

• Functional knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM applications and processes, specifically on Configuration Management Database Model and Asset Management Database Model.
• Experience working with ServiceNow Discovery and data reconciliation.
• Experience with CMDB Health Certification and other data governance strategies to improve data accuracy.
• Experience with developing CMDB processes, policies to ensure accurate inventory of records, as well as integration with incident, change and problem management processes.

Nice to haves:

• ServiceNow certificates are considered assets
• Strong communication skills, able to work with multiple teams and stakeholders to gather CMDB requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Management: The consultant will be expected to work on building, configuring, and maintaining the CMDB within ServiceNow.
• Asset Management: They need to manage and maintain accurate records of hardware and software assets.
• ServiceNow Discovery: The consultant should have experience with ServiceNow Discovery to ensure that the CMDB is populated and updated accurately with data from the environment.
• Data Reconciliation: A key responsibility will be reconciling CMDB data, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of the data.
• Health Certification: Experience in CMDB health certification and using strategies to improve data accuracy and completeness.
• Process & Policy Development: They will need to create and refine processes and policies that ensure a proper inventory of records and integration with other ITIL processes like incident, change, and problem management.
