Our client is looking for a Senior Cyber Security Analyst with strong MS tool experience to administer and monitor vulnerabilities, audits and cyber events within an enterprise environment


This role is 3 days/week onsite with flexibility on which days are in office.


Must Haves:

  • 7+ years' experience as a Security Analyst supporting all areas within Cyber Security in an enterprise environment
  • Experience with Information Security Audits.
  • Strong understanding of internal control concepts and policies.
  • Lead and manage external vendor partnerships (MSSP, Security Operations Center, Penetration Testing Management, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of information security concepts, standards, and best practices
  • Experienced with a variety of cybersecurity technologies including Microsoft tools, Palo Alto, Exabeam, CrowdStrike, Proofpoint and Tenable


Nice to Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a technical diploma in an applicable field or equivalent experience.
  • CISSP or SANS Certifications.


Responsibilities:

  • Recommend and implement cybersecurity practices and controls, networks and applications based on business needs, regulatory requirements and industry practices.
  • Informal leadership responsibilities including strategic planning, initiative prioritization, project management and mentoring other members of the Cybersecurity team.
  • Reporting, escalating, and remediating security events based on the established protocols.
  • Participate in root cause analysis of critical events for improving preventative and reactive processes.
  • Monitor cybersecurity alerts though the use of various security monitoring tools to respond, triage, and escalate as needed.
  • Review & respond to cybersecurity events that are detrimental to the overall security posture; analyze and detect sophisticated and nuanced attacks, discern false positives.
  • Provide cybersecurity support for requests from a variety of avenues including email, phone, MS TEAMS, and ticketing system.
