Description
Duration: 3 months to start (chance of extension)
Location: Sudbury, ON (10 hour shifts, 4x/week)
Job Responsibilities:
- Work on surface and/or underground
- Identify and label network switches
- Inspect and install new network patch cables
- Field red-line drawings with as-builts
- Perform simple configuration changes to network switches
- Trace out network cables and clean up network panels
Must haves:
- 5+ years as a Network Technician/Network Admin in very complex environments
- Previous experience converting Cisco to Fortinet switches
- 5+ years in Linux system administration
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or RHCSA/RHCE.
Nice to haves:
- Previous mining experience
- Experience working underground
