Description
Duration: 12 months to start
Location: Hybrid - Downtown Toronto (min 1 day a week in office)
Must Have Skills:
- 3+ years of experience as a Project Control Officer (or similar) complex and large project financials
- Ability to review project financial data to identify issues and trends.
- Exp with Clarity
- Advanced Microsoft Excel exp
- Power BI exp (reporting)
- Exposure to Vendor Contract Management
- Understanding of SDLC, project spend etc.
- Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities:
This is a niche role within the Corporate & Commercial Banking and Credit Risk Technology Team focusing on the Financials / Development Spend of the department. Group is comprised of ~400 resources who work across ~150+ different projects and maintenance funding lines.
- Financials Governance - Working across 30+ Resource Managers to ensure all resources are forecast
- Working across 40+ Project Managers to understand status of forecast against working plan/budget
- Ability to complete analysis on above, and knowledgably report on the same, making recommendations for remediation where appropriate
- Directly manages the resource forecasting and variances for all Maintenance
- Other (Break-Fix) funding items on behalf of the Applications Managers, keeping a detailed side-book of draws, variances and pressures
- Builds agenda, facilitates and minutes Monthly Financial Review meetings with all Resource Managers, and Project Managers as required
- Analyzes daily reporting to identify changes, issues and trends
- Maintains a procedural document outlining all tasks completed (this is a living document)
- Resource On & Off-boarding
- Resource data management (i.e. BCP information)
- Timesheet audits & approvals
- Furlough data collection
- Support invoice reconciliation issue resolution
- Sharepoint Management
