Our retail client is looking for an Intermediate Business Analyst to provide analysis, support and pull data queries on multiple custom In-House applications.

Permanent, hybrid (3 days a week), Burnaby

Must Have:

• 4+ years of Business Analysis experience
• Exposure to SQL, with the ability to write and interpret queries.
• Strong knowledge of data analytics

Nice to Have:

• Experience with mobile application development or integrated systems
• Familiarity with APIs and how they interact with various business applications
• Exposure to AI or computer vision projects, particularly in environments that capture and categorize data through image/video processing
• Understanding of recycling, environmental efficiency, or logistics systems, specifically those involving product movement and tracking (e.g., courier-like systems)

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for custom-built applications with multiple integrations (16+ systems, including mobile apps)
• Work with developers to ensure accurate system integrations, monitor progress, and troubleshoot any issues
• Act as a QA tester, conducting functional and integration tests after development is complete to ensure system integrity
• Support the project by facilitating communication between internal stakeholders, developers, and the broader business team, contributing to knowledge sharing across the team
