Our Municipal client is looking for an Intermediate Business Analyst to work on the implementation of Enterprise asset management system for various departments.

Location: Hamilton - Hybrid - 2 Days onsite (flexible with days)

Duration: 1 year contract

7.5 hours/day.

Responsibilities:

• Participate as a core team member throughout all project stages, including Discovery, Design, Setup, Configuration, Implementation, and Training, to ensure the successful deployment of the EAM system.
• Help design and solve complex problems related to workflows, data collection, and data use within the EAM system.
• Identify and document business needs for workflow development and system setup, ensuring they fit with the EAM system.
• Support the creation and maintenance of documentation, models, and processes to support the system’s operations and reporting needs.
• Monitor workflows and suggest improvements to make the system more efficient.
• Design user interfaces that are easy to use and improve the overall user experience with the EAM system.
• Assist in training efforts by creating materials and delivering sessions to help users adopt the EAM system and follow governance standards.
• Set-up and maintain control and documentation processes for all workflows, including approval, revisions, and access control.
• Update logs and tracking providing updates to stakeholders and project team.
• Identify potential risks and create plans to reduce them, ensuring the EAM system is implemented and operated successfully.

Must Haves:

• 4-5 years as a Business Analyst with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems.
• Workflow development, system configuration, and implementation.

Nice to Have:

• CBAP
• Familiarity with public works operations, city asset management practices, ISO 55000 and Ontario Regulation 588/17
