Our public sector client requires an Intermediate Business Intelligence Analyst to assist with Report Development with ETL (Exchange, Transform, and Load) scripts with PowerCenter Informatica and/or SAP BusinessObjects

Candidates can be 100% remote in Canada (working MST hours). 37.5 hour work week.

Must Haves:

• 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or Report Development focusing on ETL (Exchange, Transform, and Load) scripts with PowerCenter Informatica
• Strong understanding of data modeling using Kimball Dimensional Modelling approach
• Data visualization experience with MS Power BI for creating dashboards
• Experience with Oracle and SQL database
• Experience working with business units to elicit requirements to understanding reporting needs.

Nice to Haves:

• SAP BusinessObjects
• SAP Ariba data knowledge
• Denodo platform visualization experience

Responsibilities:

• Working with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand reporting requirements (whether new requirements or support for existing solutions)

• Working with the business intelligence governance team to confirm the solution pattern that will be applied to meet said reporting requirements

• Analyzing existing BusinessObjects data marts and modifying same, where necessary, to meet said reporting requirements

• Developing Exchange, Transform, and Load scripts to populate any new data tables required

• Existing universes are often designed using Kimball Dimensional Modelling; the successful candidate must understand this approach

• Creating reports and / or dashboards in either BusinessObjects or Power BI

• Creating technical documentation to meet long-term support requirements

• Providing knowledge transfer to internal support employees
