Intermediate Data Analyst

Position Title: Technical Consultant - Senior

Duration: 9 Months

Remote/Hybrid: Hybrid - Monday or Tuesday in person. Most of the team in person on Tuesdays. Second Friday of every month is in person.

Office Location: 81 Bay 32nd Floor

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst/ETL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust technical skill set, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, to design and develop data models, improve data analysis processes, and generate actionable insights through comprehensive reporting. This role requires expertise in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, as well as proficiency in various analytical tools and programming languages.

Key Responsibilities:

• ETL Development and Design:

Develop, design, and maintain ETL data flow models to ensure efficient data integration from multiple sources. Optimize ETL processes to support business intelligence and analytics needs.

• Data Analysis Process Improvement:

Assess current data analysis processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy. Ensure that data analysis practices align with organizational goals and standards.

• Data Reporting:

Generate detailed data analysis reports using tools such as Tableau, Alteryx Designer, and MS Excel. Provide insights and recommendations based on data trends to support decision-making across various teams.

• Analytical Software Proficiency:

Utilize analytical software and systems, including Tableau Desktop, Alteryx Designer, MS Access Macro, and SharePoint, to manage, analyze, and visualize data. Ensure data is accessible and presented in a clear and actionable manner.

• Programming and Automation:

Leverage programming languages such as Python, SQL, and VBA to automate data processing tasks, create complex queries, and develop scripts for data manipulation. Utilize advanced Excel functions, including VBA scripts, pivot tables, and Active X controls, to streamline data analysis workflows.

• Data Governance and Compliance:

Adhere to data governance policies and procedures, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security. Maintain compliance with organizational standards for data handling and reporting.

Must Have Requirement:

5-7 years of the following:

· Developing and designing ETL Data Flow Models

· Assessing and Improving Data Analysis Process

· Generating Data Analysis Reports

· MS Access Macro

· VBA

· Expert user of MS Excel:

o VBA Script

o Pivot Table

o Advanced Formulas

o Form/Active X Control

· Familiar working within Data Governance and defining Procedures

Nice to Have:
