Description
Our client is looking for an Intermediate Microsoft 365 Administrator with experience with Microsoft Teams telephony
Location: 100% remote - (West coast hours - PST or MST)
Duration: 1 year
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Configure and manage Teams Phone System, including call routing, auto-attendants, and call queues.
- Implement and manage Direct Routing or Microsoft Calling Plans for telephony integration
- Configure emergency calling (e911) and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Teams telephony, call quality, and device issues.
- Manage Teams endpoints, including desk phones, conference devices, and mobile apps.
- Manage user accounts, phone numbers, and licensing for telephony services.
- Monitor system performance using tools like Call Quality Dashboard and address any voice/video issues.
Must Haves:
- Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, SharePoint, Azure AD)
- 1-2 years focused on MS Teams telephony administration
- Expertise in Teams Phone System configuration, including Direct Routing and Calling Plans.
- Experience with SIP, VoIP protocols, and session border controllers (SBCs).
- Knowledge of telephony-related networking principles, such as QoS, VLANs, and firewalls.
- PowerShell for automation and troubleshooting.
Nice to Have:
- Microsoft Certified: Teams Voice Engineer Expert and Microsoft Certified: Modern Workplace Administrator Associate.
