S.i. Systems financial client is looking for an Intermediate Performance Tester and execute test plans and test cases, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects

6 month contract to start.

Must Haves:

• 6+ years of experience in Performance testing with web applications in large, complex, and highly integrated technology environments in financial industry (preferably in digital banking).
• 1-2 years of experience in test automation (with tools and frameworks)
• Experience preparing a test strategy and test approach
• Proficient level in SQL and data analytics.
• Experience in windows scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, JScript, VB script).

Responsibilities:

Test Planning and Strategy:

• Develop comprehensive test plans and test strategies based on product requirements and specifications.
• Identify and prioritize test scenarios and test cases, ensuring coverage of functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.

Test Case Design and Execution:

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases and test scripts for manual and automated testing.
• Conduct functional, integration, system, and regression testing to validate software functionality and performance.
• Provide quality assurance support on analyzing and resolving production issues.
• Write SQL queries and scripts to retrieve and validate data.

Defect Identification and Management:

• Identify, document, and track defects found during testing, using defect management tools.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve defects, ensuring timely resolution.

Automation Testing:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to improve testing efficiency.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous testing and rapid feedback.

Performance and Load Testing:

• Conduct performance and load testing to ensure software scalability and stability.
• Analyze performance test results and provide recommendations for improvements.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide input on testability and quality.
• Communicate testing status, progress, and results to project teams and stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for improving testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing.
