Our valued Financial client is actively seeking a Intermediate Project Coordinator to support a digital migration project.

9-month contract, working hybrid (2 days onsite) in Montreal or Toronto or St. Johns.


As a Digital Project Coordinator your mandate will be focused on delivering an exciting and impactful new project: you will help expand insurance offering and enhance customer experience with the addition of group benefits and travel insurance products. You’ll be reporting to the Manager of Digital Platforms and will manage the migration of group benefits and travel insurance across the web platforms. You will gather detailed requirements, manage vendors, liaise with internal stakeholders, and review work produced by the project team for quality and accuracy.


Responsibilities:

  • Advise and assist internal and external stakeholders with the delivery of Group Benefits & Travel rebranded web experiences.
  • Ensure the Group Benefits & Travel project is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Manage and refine a detailed project plan to deliver the project and track progress. Includes identifying project milestones, critical success factors, risks, and resource requirements.
  • Define distilled business requirements and acceptance criteria from complex concepts and business needs.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Work closely with product owner on resource allocation and availability.
  • Review team output for quality and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (including Corporate Underwriting, IT, Claims, Labs, Legal and Business Development) to refine business requirements, gather inputs, and secure necessary approvals.
  • Manage the relationships with the project team, vendors, and all stakeholders.
  • Create, maintain, and communicate comprehensive project documentation.
  • Establish a communication pipeline to ensure all digital platforms leadership and teammates are receiving the right information at the right time for project delivery status.



Must-Haves:

  • 3+ years as an IT project coordinator
  • PMP Certification
  • Insurance industry experience



Nice-to-Haves:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Experience and practical knowledge of applying Agile methodologies and processes.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Jira, and Confluence
